8 Shoes Every Woman Should Own

Have you suffered from lack of wardrobe space and still not able to find shoes to wear? Do you find that you keep wearing the same shoes over and over again? And some shoes that you have bought you have only worn once and forgotten about it? This is exactly my dilemma.
After careful analysis I realized that every women should have 8 basic shoe types. Categorizing your shoes will show you which type you are lacking and which ones you have too much of.
Here’s my list:
1. The Work-worthy Heels
Black pumps are always classy and is a work shoe staple. The most important thing about work shoes is comfort. You need to invest in these shoes as you will wear them for the whole day. If you are an office girl like me, you can invest in a few different neutral colors too. I have red, nude, white , purple and patterned pumps. I like to keep in demure but elegant.
2. The Party Shoe
These heels can be strappy sandals for a day out or can be colourful and flirty for a night out in town. Party shoes can be as loud with animal prints, block colours, jewel embellishments. There are no rules. Dress up according to your style!
3. The Ballet Flats
These ballets flats are the most comfortable of all shoes, but it doesn’t mean it is boring. There are a lot of beautiful ballet flats in different materials such as jelly, suede and leather. The ballet flats are your best friend for a day with lots of walking.
4. The Sport Shoe/Gym shoe
Invest in good sport shoes or exercise shoes. These shoes protect your feet from getting blisters when doing strenous exercise. Make sure you get a good fit that will allow for best movement.
5. The Casual Thong
Who can go wrong with a thong? Haviannas are a popular kind but there are lots more slippers that can be worn outdoors or at the beach. Bright colours bring out the fun in you.
6. The Sexy Boots
Whether ankle high, cowboy type of knee high boots, boots are essential shoes for autumn and winter seasons. They offer the most protection and can be ultra feminine when worn with the right outfit.
7. The Gladiator
These sandals have become popular as they are edgy and cool. Gladiators can be worn with heels for a night out or flats for casual wear. They add an oomph to your look!
8. Funky Wedges
It is the cross between high heels and flats but with extra support for your calves. Wedges or espadrilles boosts height but also elongate the leg.
After categorizing my shoes and seeing which type I need more of, I now have a logical reason to go for more shopping!
