2013 is all about the autumnal palette. Oranges, lush greens and earthy tones are back in season! Think quirky prints and fur trims and neutral or a tinge of animal print in your heels!
I am in love with this Carolina Herrera dress worn by one of my favourite fashion icons, Camilla Belle. I think the orange and green is a great contrast but very flattering for olive/mediterranean skin.
Think Victorian lady explorers in Africa such as Mary Kingsley for inspiration, seamless elegance and neutral soft fabric.
Perennial look is simple and demure and you can’t go wrong with this look in 2013.
New Year brings so much hope. New starts, new resolutions, new goals, new dreams & new heels.
Looking back at 2012, It was a big year for us. FassionCave was launched and many shoe parties celebrated and new shoes bought.
Here are the highlights & lessons in 2012 for us:
1. Although we are a purely online business, we realise the importance of the physical joys of shopping. So we introduced “Shoe Parties” in which the host invites her friends for a party with food, drinks and ofcourse shoe shopping at home. We will do more of this so please register your interest by contacting us.
2. We know that our customers deserve only the best in quality and comfort. We are not like any other shop, we believe in the quality and craftmanship of our products.
So we will endeavour to source more of the shoes that you want and will always want to wear every season.
3. We realise that more and more people prefer online shopping for convenience. We will continue to provide good service and great deals and irresistible cave deals for the smart shopper.

To launch the birth of FassionCave, we decided to host a family and friends event in a form of a Shoe Party. I have never heard of this word myself, in fact I envisioned that it would be a perfect idea to hold a party that includes food, drinks, music and shopping.
We were lucky to find a venue at Oxford Hotel that accomodated 50 guests in a beautiful sunken cellar. The feeling that I got from this venue is “cave-like” with its stone walls and that feeling of discovery as soon as you go downstairs. It was the perfect venue albeit the weekend band and dim lighting – it gave such a fun and vibrant atmosphere.
Here are some of the photos from the night, with happy faces from the ladies.
We were able to showcase the selection of boots, high heels , ballet flats and wedges from our brands: Perth local designer -VanGoh Shoes and Brazilian Brands- Ramarim, Vizzano, Moleca and Beira Rio.

We had a great party and looking forward to having more celebratory events in the future.
It was a beautiful and sunny day in Perth, Australia yesterday and how lucky are we to have the photoshoot planned on this day after a long week of cold and stormy weather.
We wanted to showcase our models with their smart workwear as well as casual weekend look to complement FassionCave’s heels and boots to wear for work and play.
Kate is wearing the Ramarim leather heels in Guava and Lyella is wearing the Ramarim leather heels in teal. I love how the shoes lift and compliment their workwear.

It has been cold and rainy in Perth, Australia this past week. Infact, all I can think about is piling on layers and layers of clothing, socks and hibernating in my bed under my sheets.
Looking at the positive side, the dreary dull weather is an opportunity for fashionistas! Lets beat the dark, dull winter with colours!
CURRENT OBSESSION: JEWEL TONES
I must admit, that I love jewel tones and I’m quite pleased to see these colours have come out for the winter season.
Think emerald green, topaz yellow, ruby red. They bring out a zest of freshness to beat the winter blues. Check out these ones on the catwalk by Issey Miyake, Victoria Beckham and Thakoon!
You can add a hint of jewel tone in your winter outfit with scarves, accessories , heels or boots!
These leather Ramarim heels are a great way to add colour to your winter wardrobe! Not only they are cute they are super comfy too you can literally run with these.
Don’t be afraid to get out of your comfort zone. Don’t blend in to the winter by wearing all-black outfit, on the other hand, explore, play and have fun while you’re at it!
If you want a selection of the best winter boots, then you need to choose high quality products that will last you the entire season. Winter boots should have thick soles that will give you a grip on slippery pavements. They should also be able comfortable and all weather proof.
The best boots to wear during the winter are leather boots. One of the trendiest styles this winter are cowboy inspired boots. These can come with one to three inch heels, but no more! These shoes are meant for running around all day in the city. Check out our Ramarim leather boots cowboy inspired boots!
Leather boots can come in a variety of dressier styles too. For example, ankle boots with a stiletto heel will look great with your club wear. Think hardware for the embellishments on your ankle boots such as zippers, chains, straps and studs. My favourite is the Ramarim Black leather boots with pink trims! Edgy and rough on the outside but feels like stepping on pillows on the inside.
There are plenty of wedge heels to go around as well. These will be featured in ankle boots up to thigh highs. If you are in the mood for a functional boot that will give you an edge on height, then a lace up wedge boot is what you need. You can find these boots in a variety of colors and materials. Just ensure that the heel is not too high and that you are able to walk comfortably. Check out these Vizzano lace up wedge ankle boots
that are selling like hotcakes.
As for more classic boots, you can always choose brown or black leather knee boots. These boots look great with everything from jeans to a little black dress. You can count on them to carry you through the season and for many to come. Check out Vangoh’s stunning knee high leather boots
– they are unique and will definitely be a stand out!
If you want to be on top of the fashion trends, then get a pair of boots that features buckled straps or a wedge heels. This will give your boots an edge over the classic styles you see every year.
Fassion Cave has just received all of our Winter Stocks and they are now sitting pretty at our new founded warehouse!
For our website launch we are introducing these Brands (Vangoh, Moleca, Vizzano, Ramarim and Beira Rio) all brands are top quality in terms of craftmanship and design. Plus, they are extremely, extremely comfortable!!!

Paris is the city of high fashion both on the runway and the street. The City of Lights might be heading into Spring, but the dreary weather keeps Parisians in their boots all year long. For a true Paris fashion look, then stick to these shoes for look that is both chic and transitional.
1) Canvas Boots
Paris style relies on versatile and classic looks. The canvas boot
is the quintessential Parisian shoe of the moment. This is the ultimate transitional shoe thanks to its neutral colors and light look. You can wear a pair of these with jeans and a blazer for a preppy look that will last you all Autumn long.
The Brogue has been in every French girl’s closet for at least two years now. They go with everything from floral dresses and tights to jeans and tee_shirts. They are easily worn all year long thanks to their simple design. The most daring updated their look with glitter covered brogues. Keep your outfit simple if you want to try the glitter brogue Paris trend.
3) Quilted Ballet Flat
Every Parisian knows that her go to shoe is the quilted ballet flat
(inspired by Chanel, of course!). You can find these shoes in practically every boutique, both high street and luxury brand, in the city. If you need a shoe that will take you from day to night, then this is it. The quilted ballet flat will last you for years to come; so, buy a couple of nice pairs so that you will never be without them!
Parisian fashion is easy to copy thanks to its timeless look. French girls do like to shake things up every now and then with a pair of glittery or bejeweled shoes. You can never go wrong with a little Parisian influence.

We are here to help you narrow down your decision on what to buy and how to wear your new winter boots.

The first boot that you should buy this season is the glittery boot! The shoes have been seen in the runway from Robert Clergie to Miu Miu. However, you can find cheaper versions online or at your favorite high street stores. These boots

2) The Rain Boot
The next boot you will need is one that can be worn in all types of weather. Plastic rain boots have been popular for a couple of seasons now. They keep getting cuter and more stylish, i.e. ankle boots from Melissa by Vivienne Westwood. You can the perfect rain boot in bright colors or accented with little brass buttons and bows. This is one boot that you will be wearing many times out in during inclement weather- so, make it fun!
